Since our focus is on high quality products sourced from nature, nearly every ingredient comes from a naturally occurring source. We have noted in the product description where a maker has identified ingredients as organic or certified organic.
We always recommend consulting with your healthcare practitioner about the use of any product during pregnancy and breastfeeding. If you have questions regarding specific products you are interested in, please feel free to email us.
Both alluring terms are used by the artisans in their own definition. We like to think of an elixir as a sophisticated blend crafted to elevate both body and spirit. A remedy is commonly a focused solution to restore harmony and well-being.

A hydrosol is a water-based solution that carries the aromatic and therapeutic properties of plants. It’s produced through steam distillation, a process where plant materials, such as flowers, leaves, or herbs, are steamed, and the resulting vapor is condensed into liquid form. This liquid contains both the essential oil of the plant and a much larger amount of water-soluble compounds, making hydrosols gentler and less concentrated than essential oils.
Due to the natural ingredients used within our products, there may be settling at times. This is completely normal. Feel free to give your container a little shake to reincorporate.
We use 100% natural ingredients whenever possible. There can be some variation among natural ingredients. Also, please note some spritzes, elixirs can change color if left in sunlight.
Unfortunately we cannot accept product containers. We can recommend some ways to repurpose containers once you have used them.

All of these terms refer to the practice of sourcing materials directly from nature, but they emphasize slightly different aspects of the process. We yield to the artisans to describe their process which we know to be specific to their relationship with and connection to nature.
Forage Folk products represent all corners of the US's varied landscape. You will find ingredients from the desert, forest, sea, and prairie within our collections.
You will also find specialty items sourced from the Netherlands and India.
A flower or gem essence is a subtle yet powerful infusion that captures the vibrational energy of flowers or gems.
An essence is created by placing fresh blossoms, gemstone or crystal in pure water and allowing them to bask in sunlight or moonlight.
GIFTS
Yes! Before adding a gift card to the card, check the box for "I want to send this as a gift." Your options to include the recipients information and message will appear.
Yes, gift cards can be purchased and sent via email or via mail in a gift box.
You can redeem your gift card online by entering the gift card code from the email or physical gift card you received in the “Discount Code” section of the web cart. Once you hit “Apply” the amount of the gift certificate will be automatically deducted from your grand total.
If you received a Forage Folk gift that you would like to return, please email us with the order number or receipt from whoever purchased the gift. We may be able to offer you a credit for the gift price.
In order to accept the return, we must be notified within 30days from the time the package was delivered to its shipping address.
Payments & Safety
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

Shipping & Delivery
Domestic shipping can take up to 5 business days.
Foreign shipping could take up to 14 business days.
Shipping rates can vary depending on your region and are calculated at checkout.
Yes, we offer free shipping for large domestic orders. Check the cart to see the if your order qualifies for free shipping.
We only ship to USA and Canada at the moment.
We currently only ship to the United States and Canada.

Why We Don’t Drop Ship: A Forage Folk Philosophy
Many people ask, “So, do you have the makers send the products directly to customers?” The answer is no. We buy from our artisans and keep the products in our atelier, then ship them out ourselves.
You might wonder why, especially when drop shipping is such a buzzword in the business world today. Some might even think we lack business acumen because of it. But for us, this choice is deeply intentional.
Our mission at Forage Folk is to infuse more soul into the world through our products. We believe in fostering a genuine connection to the items we sell and, importantly, to the incredible artisans who create them. By purchasing in bulk, we support our makers in a way that’s meaningful and sustainable, rather than putting all the risk on them. This approach ensures they are fairly compensated upfront, allowing them to focus on their craft without the pressures of fulfillment logistics.
While we might explore other methods in the future, this way of operating feels right for us now. It’s about more than just business; it’s about honoring the artistry and ensuring every product you receive is handled with care and intention.
Our team fulfills orders as quickly as possible, in the order in which they are received. Typically, fulfillment time takes 1-3 business days (M-F) from when the order is placed, depending on order volume and product availability. During peak holiday season, you can expect this to be more like 5-7 business days.
We offer USPS Priority International, DHL, UPS or FedEx.
Unfortunately, once a shipment has left our facility we do not have control over its whereabouts or delivery.
For most shipping methods, shipping times are not a guaranteed service and unforeseen delays can happen. Please visit the courier’s website for updated information.
For full acceptance of a damaged goods claim, we need photo evidence and adequate proof of damage provided by the customer. This allows us to submit the claim to the courier. Please include photos of: all sides of the box the package was shipped in, the inner packaging, as well as the damaged item itself. We must be notified within 30 days of delivery to issue a refund or replacement. Please send this information to info@foragefolk.com.
We strive to use recycled and recyclable materials for all of our packaging.
Returns & Refunds
Yes, we offer full and partial refunds.

A refund request can be submitted within 30 days after the purchase is made.
In the case when the product and packaging are unopened and undamaged, you are eligiblefor a full refund.
In the case when the packaging has been opened and the product has been used, you are eligiblefor a partial refund.
In the case when a product has been damaged, and the damage is not covered by your warranty, you are not eligiblefor a refund.

When an order does not include free shipping, all shipping costs (including the return shipping) are handled by the customer.
When an order includes free shipping, only the cost of the return shipping is handled by the customer.
Yes, orders may be cancelled prior to shipment. Once an order has been fulfilled, it cannot be cancelled.
We cannot make any adjustments to orders after they have been confirmed, so please double check your order to make sure that all items, discount codes, billing, and shipping information are correct prior to checkout.
If your order is returned to us for any reason, we can either re-ship it for an additional re-shipping cost, or we can refund the cost of the products purchased. Shipping is non-refundable.
